For all those who are there when it matters: PIKO H0 Special Model for Fire Brigades and Youth Development

Sonneberg, April 2026 – On the occasion of “International Firefighters’ Day” on May 4, 2026, PIKO Spielwaren GmbH is setting a special sign of appreciation: With an exclusive H0 special edition printed wagon, the company honors the dedication and social importance of fire brigade personnel while at the same time supporting youth development. The campaign follows the guiding principle: “For all those who are there when it matters – and for those who will be there tomorrow.”

The covered freight wagon will be released in a one-time edition and features high-quality thematic printing. For every wagon sold, PIKO will donate €5 to the German Youth Fire Brigade to specifically support the promotion of young fire brigade members.

“The fire brigade makes an indispensable contribution to our society – often on a voluntary basis and with great personal commitment. With this model, we would like not only to say thank you, but also to actively help strengthen this important youth work,” explains Rainer Landwehr, Managing Director of PIKO Spielwaren GmbH.

The special wagon with item number #27902 will be available for pre-order from early April 2026 in the PIKO online shop, in the Flagship Store in Sonneberg, and at specialist model railway retailers (RRP €39.99). The wagon can be pre-ordered immediately until mid-June. Delivery is expected by the end of August.
