Starting the most wonderful time of the year with PIKO:

Sonneberg, November 2025 – Just in time for the first Advent weekend, PIKO warmly invites all customers to a special shopping experience at the PIKO Flagship Store: For Saturday, 29 November 2025, the Sonneberg model railway manufacturer has prepared a number of special activities.

PIKO has recently demonstrated how closely model railways are connected to Christmas with the very emotional Christmas film about the PIKO Christmas Locomotive (www.weihnachtslok.de). To make this feeling come alive for everyone, visitors can look forward to a festively decorated store with a special selection of new model railway products on Advent Saturday.

In addition to a special 10% discount on all new items in the store, the recently opened PIKO Treasure Trove invites visitors to discover new “lo(c)k-offers”. Children will also receive a free chocolate Santa Claus, while the Rotary Club Sonneberg will provide culinary delights at the event with Thuringian bratwurst and mulled wine.

A special highlight is the planned construction site tour of the new PIKO Customer Center at 11:00 a.m., which will also be attended by Sonneberg’s mayor, Dr. Heiko Voigt. The customer center, currently being built at the Sonneberg site with an investment of over a quarter million euros, will offer modern meeting rooms and an inviting reception area. “With this modernization, we are sending a clear message: PIKO remains firmly rooted in Sonneberg and is investing in the future,” emphasizes CEO Rainer Landwehr.

With a combination of a Christmas-themed shopping experience, small surprises for children and insights into the company’s latest developments, PIKO aims to get its customers and visitors into the Advent mood and excited for the upcoming holiday season.
