14.11.2025 Press Release: PIKO invests in a new customer center and strengthens the Sonneberg location
Sonneberg, November 14, 2025 – The model railway manufacturer PIKO continues to invest in the future of its headquarters in Sonneberg: A new customer center with modern meeting rooms and a contemporary, welcoming reception area is currently under construction. A total of around a quarter of a million euros is being invested in the project – a clear signal that PIKO is economically strong and committed to the long-term development of the site.
The new customer center will provide optimal conditions for meetings, customer discussions, seminars and events. The reception area will also receive a fresh, professional appearance that stylistically reflects the PIKO Flagship Store opened in 2023, ensuring a consistent and modern brand identity. The modernization is being carried out exclusively by regional craftsmen. “Completion is scheduled in time for our annual press conference in January and will open up completely new opportunities for us to offer PIKO seminars even more professionally,” emphasizes CEO Rainer Landwehr. With this investment, PIKO sends a clear message: The company remains firmly rooted in Sonneberg, invests in modern infrastructure and looks to the coming years with confidence.
