09.07.2019 High-ranking visit to PIKO: US Consul General Timothy Eydelnant visits the company

On Monday, July 8th, 2019, Timothy Eydelnant, US Consul General for Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, visited the PIKO factory in Sonneberg together with his husband and other employees of the consulate.

Mr. Eydelnant, who has been a PIKO model railway enthusiast since childhood, was able to gather impressions of the garden railway production, the construction and the assembly department under the guidance of Mr. Günther Heilmann, technical director at PIKO and was very interested and enthusiastic about the factory in Sonneberg and the products.

As a small reminder, the consul general received the PIKO Jahreswagen 2019 as a gift for the home H0 layout!
